The Wake Forest Elementary School Foundation is a 501(c)(3) established to raise money for projects
not otherwise financed by the state. These funds will be used to provide experiences that will enhance
the iSTEM magnet curriculum.

• Sponsor teams of students to attend regional academic competitions such as First Lego
  League Challenge and Science Olympiad

• Provide opportunities to foster inquiry, curiosity, confidence, problem-solving,
  collaboration, critical thinking and communication through activities as presented to the
  Board by staff

• Support field trips and other activities that make learning fun and authentic
